Job description
Job Description Our client is a global engineering and project delivery firm known for tackling complex mining and metals projects in challenging environments. With teams operating across multiple continents, they combine deep technical expertise with practical execution to deliver sustainable, highimpact outcomes for clients, communities, and people. What You'll Do: Lead the front end of mining projects, where the biggest decisions are made and the greatest value is created.
Lead mining studies from scoping through feasibility, ensuring outcomes are safe, highquality, on schedule, and fit for purpose Act as the primary client interface, translating client objectives into clear, executable study strategies Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and subject matter experts across Canada and global offices Own study scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and critical paths-anticipating issues before they become problems Drive CAPEX estimates and financial models that support investment decisions Identify, manage, and clearly communicate project risks to clients and internal leadership Lead the preparation and delivery of regulatory documentation, including NI 43101 technical reports Support business development efforts and help grow the regional studies practice Contribute to strengthening study methodologies and bestpractice delivery across the team What You'll Bring: Solid experience in the mining industry Prior experience on the owner/client side or in consulting roles such as Study Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, or Lead Engineer Background in engineering consulting or capital project delivery environments Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex studies Strong written, technical, and verbal communication skills High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Confident leadership style with strong stakeholder and client management skills Willingness to travel as required What's in It for You: Meaningful career progression through technical development, mentorship, and global project exposure A hybrid work model that supports flexibility and worklife balance Competitive compensation and progressive parental leave benefits Comprehensive wellness and benefits programs, including confidential counselling support Direct access to respected industry leaders who value your input and expertise A collaborative, inclusive culture that rewards initiative, curiosity, and fresh thinking You'll join a company that values people who challenge the status quo, take ownership, and want to build a career, not just fill a seat.
