Job description

Director Engineering US Distribution
This position is responsible for the application of current, new and evolving engineering principles, policies and practices to drive optimized services and return on investment on the domestic distribution footprint. Activities include developing and optimizing:
- Plant layouts and methods
- Equipment and distribution standards for: manpower, equipment and material utilization through application of lean principles
- Capital budgeting and management
- Oversight of distribution engineering and Danville plant equipment maintenance and IT functions
- Indirect oversight of EH&S functions
This position also requires a broad knowledge of feasibility and cost justification techniques, and financial acumen to translate operational issues into financial terms.
Understanding AG's near-term business plans/strategies is essential as this role continues to evolve in supporting global growth strategies.
