Job description

Occupational Therapist PRN will provide direct patient care to home bound patients.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develops and revises plan of care in consultation with physician and other careteam members.
  • Provides therapeutic treatments and evaluation of equipment needs as applicable.
  • Participates in clinical conferences and inservice programs.
  • Conducts onsite supervisory visits of certified occupational therapy assistants.
  • Advises and consults with the family and other agency personnel as applicable.
  • Prepares clinical and progress notes.
  • Protects and honors patient and coworker confidentiality and right to privacy.
  • Evaluates outcomes of care.
  • Plans for discharge.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current Texas OT License.
  • Current Certification in BSL/CPR
  • Valid Texas Driver's License and Automobile Insurance
  • Knowledge of WellSky EMR software is a plus
  • Salary: Pay Per Visit including mileage reimbursement.
