Day in the Life of Senior EMR Practice Management Analyst
*Backgrounds with identifiable CareLogic and Waystar experience with be reviewed first.
The Senior PM Analyst is responsible for providing advanced support, analysis, and optimization of the clinic's practice management (PM) and clearinghouse systems. This role acts as a subject matter expert for Waystar, CareLogic, and Medgen, ensuring that scheduling, registration, coding, and billing-related workflows run efficiently. The Senior Analyst will partner with clinical, operational, and administrative teams in medication assisted treatment setting to improve patient access, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Must have to apply:
  • EMR system configuration is required.
  • Must have leadership skills and have managed in current role
  • Must have experience creating PowerPoint decks for leadership presentation
  • Must have medical billing experience
  • Must have experience with Waystar clearinghouse & EDI files
  • Must have web-based billing software and Electronic Health Systems.

The Senior PM Analyst is responsible for providing advanced support, analysis, and optimization of the clinic's practice management (PM) and clearinghouse systems. Responsibilities include:
  • Managing PM Analyst
  • Working with VP, Director and Business Analysts
  • Maintain payor list
  • Maintain billable service mapping.
  • Work assigned projects independently and tracks progress to meet deadlines.
  • Assisting with legacy system preparation & cleanup.
  • Troubleshoot RCM related tickets.
  • Protect patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Assist in companywide initiatives as part of the team providing direction as it relates to Implementation, software set-up, and maintenance.
  • Manage and field questions from key stakeholders within the company as it relates to RCM onboarding, process changes, and operations.
  • Evaluate process, make process improvements, and update process changes
  • Attend, participate in and facilitate meetings as necessary.
  • Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties.
  • Document changes, workflows, and processes.
  • Assist to Implement and maintain EMR, Clearinghouse, and RCM Services workflows.
  • Provide support to the RCM department as the subject matter expert as it relates to EMR functionality of billing & collections.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to HIPAA laws.

Education and Requirements
  • 2 years' experience with medical billing, preferred in substance abuse and/or primary care.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or will take equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An above-average aptitude with internet/computer use.
  • Prior experience working with Carelogic is ideal
