The Business Development Director role works in conjunction with the GetWireless sales team to drive business for our Option CloudGate Gateway product line. The individual who fills this role will seek new business opportunities by engaging with OEM's and carrier teams, providing on-site training and developing relationships to drive new joint business.

To be successful in this role, candidates should have previous experience working in a sales or business development capacity to drive new product introductions in the market. Ideal candidate also has experience selling IOT/wireless technology, routers or gateways in particular. This role requires strong communication and building relationships with the Tier 1 operator sales reps, and OEM customers. A strong ability and desire to understand wireless router technology is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily outbound communications to OEM's and carrier sales teams (calling, emailing, social media)
  • Develop and qualify new leads with graceful collaboration with GetWireless sales teams to drive new product revenue
  • Deliver onsite and online product presentations
  • Collect and record data measuring efforts using a CRM
  • Ongoing industry training and product knowledge
  • Collaboration with Marketing team on lead generation campaigns

Requirements:

  • Strong relationship skills and previous experience working with complex IOT/Wireless design and development applications
  • Previous experience working with Tier 1 operators would be beneficial
  • Quickly grasp and understand IOT, wireless, mobility terminology, and applications
  • Comfortable with networking, social media, and other means to create and maintain sufficient contacts
  • Strong attention to detail with proficiency with all Microsoft Office products. CRM software experience ideal

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 plus bonus opportunity
