Job description

GridSource Inc., has an immediate need for Buried Drop Sub-Contractors in Boise, ID. Sub-Contractor must bury service lines from the terminal to residence working with both Fiber and Copper drops.
Corp to Corp Requirements:
  • Must be able to provide Certificate of Liability Insurance and meet insurance requirements.
  • Must have own truck/van/SUV capable of transporting tools, equipment, and ladder.
  • Must have all necessary tools and equipment to place cable at required depth of 8-in, including drop plow and directional machine bore and/or missile bore to perform bore work, trenching work, plow work, hand digging, conduit pulls and placing the drop to the customer.
  • Must have experience burying drops, and capability to perform road and driveway bores.
  • 30-day net term with early pay options available.
  • Long term work.
  • Subcontractors should reside within 100 miles of the work area.
  • Ability to provide COI, meeting requirements (Alex to provide minimums).
  • Equipped with appropriate tools and equipment to carry a missile/bore under sidewalks, driveways and streets as needed.
  • Directional capabilities a plus.
  • Air compressor equipped to clear conduits as needed.
  • Equipped with trencher/plow/rodder and various tooling to effectively place buried fiber and copper drops a minimum of 6-8" in various soils and conditions.
  • Ability to properly communicate with customers to gain approval and inform customers/neighbors of scope of work.
  • Ability to cutover to new drop upon completion a plus.
  • Ability to provide proof of work/continuity of drops once placed. Must have the ability to upload pictures of completed work.
