The Science Team at Pride Health supports the medical device organization and has an opening for Distribution Operations Analyst in Forest City, IA


Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Operations professional to provide analysis, project management, and process improvement support across the Distribution organization. The ideal candidate will work with minimal direction, bring strong knowledge of distribution and process design, and proactively share best practices across the organization.


Additional Details:

Contract Length: 12 Months with the possibility of extensions

Pay range: $35 to $40 per hour


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, quantify, and communicate opportunities for improvement across the Distribution network.
  • Coordinate and manage the implementation of process and operational improvements.
  • Establish, standardize, and implement best practices across the Distribution network.
  • Maintain documentation of best practices and ensure consistent execution.
  • Establish and maintain engineered labor standards across Distribution operations based on established best practices.
  • Develop and maintain performance incentive programs based on engineered labor standards.
  • Provide support and communication between store support teams and Distribution Centers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to collaborate on projects, resolve issues, and achieve project milestones.
  • Provide functional support for Warehouse Management Systems, including Labor Management, Slotting, and Reporting.
  • Assist Distribution Center personnel in resolving systemic and operational issues.
  • Measure, interpret, and report Distribution operations performance.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and performance insights to Distribution Center management.
  • Develop staffing planning models to support Distribution Center management and network planning.
  • Assist Supply Chain leadership in defining and tracking key operational metrics.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Share best practices and process improvement knowledge across the work group and broader Distribution organization.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Experience with general process design and process improvement.
  • Distribution network experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Experience analyzing operational performance and developing recommendations.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.


Nice to Have:

  • Logistics management experience.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience with Labor Management, Slotting, or warehouse reporting systems.
  • Experience developing engineered labor standards or incentive programs.
  • Experience with staffing models and Supply Chain performance metrics.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field preferred.
  • Equivalent education and relevant professional experience may also be
