Job description

Grand Pacific Financing Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive REO Asset Specialist to join our growing team in Monterey Park. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of REO and distressed assets throughout the foreclosure, receivership, and disposition lifecycle. The REO Asset Specialist will ensure assets are properly maintained, compliant with applicable regulations, and strategically managed to maximize value and mitigate risk.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and experienced in coordinating with tenants, vendors, receivers, brokers, and internal stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as a solid understanding of property management, asset preservation, and distressed asset operations.

Compensation:

$58,000 - $62,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a portfolio of REO assets from foreclosure to disposition
  • Conduct regular property inspections and monitor overall property conditions
  • Perform financial analyses to evaluate and enhance property value
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance, inspections, and property preservation work
  • Coordinate with tenants, receivers, and service providers regarding repairs and property conditions
  • Advertise and manage vacant units
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and property requirements
  • Handle tenant communication, occupancy status, and access coordination
  • Prepare reports and provide updates regarding property status and maintenance needs

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working with foreclosed or distressed properties
  • Knowledge of real estate markets and property management practices
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and financial skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to perform under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
