Real Estate Acquisition Specialists are professionals who specialize in the purchase and disposition of property assets. They assess market conditions, conduct property evaluations, and negotiate purchase agreements. Expertise is essential in making informed decisions about property investments that align with their organization's strategic goals. These specialists often collaborate with urban planners, architects, and construction teams to ensure the potential of each property is maximized.
Responsibilities:
  • Acquisitions agent to acquire distressed real estate in Southern California.
  • Bring in/find leads, on-market, or off-market.
  • Foster relationships with agents and sellers.
  • Acquisitions agent will underwrite properties to determine if they are fix and flip worthy.
  • Visit properties and create a relationship with the seller/agent, make an offer on the property, and manage the property through the entire escrow process, start-to-finish.
  • Developing acquisition plans and strategies to support organizational objectives and operations.
  • Conducting comprehensive market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions of contracts with suppliers and service providers to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Managing the entire procurement process from the initial need identification to the final acquisition.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards during the acquisition process.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to assess needs and specifications for goods and services.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and industry professionals to stay informed on market changes.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent Customer service.
  • Market research experience.
  • Ability to maintain records for procurement activities.
  • Prior experience Supporting contract administration and management.
  • Must be willing to work both in office and in the field.
  • Experience acquiring distressed real estate in southern California.
  • Excellent background in fostering / building solid relationships with Brokers, Real Estate, Investors.
  • Understanding project costs.
  • Real estate / Acquisitions background preferred.

Education:
  • B.A Preferred/ or Equivalent experience.

Compensation:
  • $22.00- $30.00 Hourly + Performance Bonus- (TBD).
