Summary of Role:
The Digital Learning Specialist is responsible for the design and delivery of digital learning solutions that help every employee reach their fullest potential, contributing to the overall extraordinary employee experience. The Digital Learning Specialist designs, develops, and delivers engaging learning experiences through a variety of digital mediums. They also serve as the LMS Administrator and are responsible for the day-to-day technical and operational functions of the LMS platform. This individual educates employees and leaders on how to use the system efficiently to manage the training of their teams as well as the ongoing oversight of annual required training, tracking and compliance reporting.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Develops strong working relationships within Employee Experience and other departments throughout Broadview
  • Reviews all digital training content (manuals, PPTs, etc.) for grammatical errors and revise, as necessary.
  • Maintain a growth mindset and regularly attends L&D workshops and training. Stays current on latest L&D trends, and applies cutting-edge techniques to instructional design.
  • Serves as primary LMS administrator, and as such, manages system learning content, compliance training records, creation of learning paths, security access, and licenses and certifications. Also completes a variety of reports as needed.
  • Ensures integrations are running seamlessly and troubleshoots any issues with internal IT and Workday specialists.
  • Contributes to the success of L&D metrics by analyzing and compiling data for the L&D dashboards and reports.
  • Assists with the development of LMS procedures and assures on-line documentation is updated in a timely manner.
  • Manage annual required training, compliance tracking, and reporting to ensure regulatory and organizational requirements are met.
  • Compile and continually update a comprehensive list of training materials, programs, and modifications.
  • Designs and executes innovative eLearning courses relating to compliance training, onboarding, product and services, professional development, and operations, using a variety of instructional design strategies and authoring tools to ensure an effective digital learning experience for employees.
  • Possess deep understanding of which learning medium would be appropriate given the learning goals, audience, timing, etc.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Talent Development, subject matter experts, and other key stakeholders to design digital training and tools to successfully meet learning goals.
  • Translate complex or technical information into clear, engaging, and accessible learning experiences for diverse employee audiences.
  • Align digital training with business goals.
  • Maintains existing online courses to keep content relevant and updated.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Training and Development, Communications, Education, or related field is required. (Equivalent work or educational experience may be considered with professional certification in training, such as the Instructional Design certificate.)
  • One (1) to three (3)+ years of experience in eLearning design, and classroom facilitation in multi-disciplinary training programs. Must have demonstrated knowledge of adult education skills and methods including generational awareness and group facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to learn concepts and technologies quickly.
  • Acts as a resource to others in high quality curriculum design and delivery.
  • CPLP, APTD, or Instructional Design certification preferred.
  • Eagerness to stay current on latest learning and instructional design trends, and regularly attends workshops and external training to enhance skillset.
  • Experience managing LMS platforms, including learning records, compliance reporting, and system administration tasks.
  • Strong data analysis, reporting, and attention to detail.
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams).
  • Proficient with eLearning authoring and multimedia tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia), graphic design tools, and AI-based tools to support the design, development, and maintenance of digital learning content.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required. Must be able to communicate directly and diplomatically in oral and written forms.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into easy-to-understand learning for all employees.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and as part of team, demonstrating professional reliability and the ability to exercise confidentiality.
  • Ability to understand technical data and excellent attention to detail. Good time management skills, good organizational skills, and ability to meet assigned deadlines.

Starting Compensation: $65,990-$80,838 annually, plus a competitive benefits package.
