Overview
Tool & Die Maker - 2nd Shift $38.86-$39.61/hour
The Tool and Die Maker is responsible for analyzing, disassembling, and completely rebuilding worn out or outdated equipment to meet manufacturing requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, layout, and perform all bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair intricately designed and constructed forming tooling to required tolerances
  • Set-up and operate tool room machinery/equipment.
  • Perform close and exact operations necessary to fit, assemble, adjust, align, and finish work to specifications.

Qualifications
  • A Journeyman's Tool & Die Makers Accredited Apprenticeship or the completion of academic courses in Industrial Math I & II, machine blueprint reading, Metal Technology I and basic Die Making Technology.
  • High school diploma or equivalent of five years direct applicable experience.
  • Ability to use shop mathematics: work with fairly complicated drawings, specifications, formulas in manufacturing or troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift over 60 pounds.
