Position Overview

The Finance Director is responsible for leading the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and effective financial planning across a multi-brand QSR platform. This role serves as the operational backbone of the finance function and a key partner in driving disciplined execution of the company’s financial strategy.

e are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead the day-to-day financial operations of a growing multi-brand QSR organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting operational performance, and driving financial planning initiatives across multiple entities and brands.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance leader with strong accounting expertise, operational awareness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & Reporting
  • Oversee all accounting functions including:
    • General ledger
    • Accounts payable and receivable
    • Payroll
    • Monthly close processes
  • Prepare timely and accurate consolidated financial statements across multiple entities and brands
  • Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis
  • Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership
Operational Finance & Business Support
  • Partner with Operations and Development teams to monitor:
    • Store-level performance
    • Margins
    • Cost structures
  • Support capital expenditure tracking, including:
    • New store development
    • Remodels
    • Equipment investments
  • Analyze labor, food costs, and sales mix profitability
Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and franchise reporting requirements
  • Coordinate external audits and tax filings
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
  • Oversee cash flow planning and working capital management
  • Manage banking relationships and financing needs
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Lead implementation and optimization of ERP systems, POS integrations, and reporting tools
  • Drive automation and process improvements
  • Develop standardized dashboards and KPI reporting
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Manage and develop the accounting and finance team
  • Establish accountability and performance standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and development teams
  • Support executive leadership with financial reporting and strategic initiatives

RequirementsEducation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
  • MBA or Master’s degree preferred
  • CPA certification preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
  • Previous leadership experience within finance/accounting departments
  • Experience in multi-entity or multi-brand organizations required
  • QSR, restaurant, retail, franchise, or hospitality industry experience preferred
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • GAAP accounting principles
    • Financial reporting
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Cash flow management
    • Internal controls
  • Experience with ERP systems, POS integrations, and financial reporting tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills

Pay Details: $0.01 per hour
