Job description

Corporate Office, 2401 S Memorial Dr, Appleton, WI 54915, USA

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for data, forecasting, and operational efficiency? Join Fleet Farm as a Vendor Analyst and become the critical link between our suppliers, merchants, and inventory systems. You'll own the planning, ordering, and tracking of inventory across hundreds of SKUs — ensuring our shelves are stocked with exactly what our customers need, when they need it.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys turning numbers into action.

What You’ll Do

Partner with Suppliers & Merchants: Build strong relationships and align on financial plans, forecasts, and strategic goals.

Forecast & Plan Inventory: Develop and maintain monthly SKU-level forecasts that align with business goals and demand trends.

Drive In-Store Excellence: Analyze sales and inventory data to improve product availability, reduce excess stock, and boost service levels.

Optimize Assortments: Recommend SKU and category-level changes based on performance, customer demand, and regional trends.

Manage Product Lifecycles: Support margin improvement by managing seasonal, promotional, and discontinued products.

Enhance Supply Chain Efficiency: Identify cost‑saving opportunities in transportation, order cycles, and flow paths.

Own the Order Process: Create and manage purchase orders from supplier to distribution center to stores.

Deliver Insights: Communicate sales, inventory, and service KPIs by SKU and store to suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Support Allocations: Execute store transfers and allocations to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time.

Hit the Numbers: Achieve key performance metrics defined by executive leadership.

Act with Integrity: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with the utmost discretion.

What You Bring

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you're comfortable working cross‑functionally with suppliers, merchants, and logistics teams.

High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

Experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management is a plus.

Proficiency in forecasting tools and Excel (or similar analytics tools).

Why Join Fleet Farm?

A dynamic and growing company with a strong Midwest footprint.

Work alongside passionate professionals who are driven by teamwork and results.

Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth and development.

Make a tangible impact on product availability and customer satisfaction.
