Overview
Responsible for developing and supporting data products, this resource plays a critical role in the design, development and management of modern, cloud-based data engineering and data warehouse solutions applied by internal and external collaborators.
Responsibilities
  • Create high performance data products by monetizing BI solutions, warehouse and ETL technologies
  • Work closely with different teams such as client, sales, IT, media planning and buying
  • Design, develop and productionize data engineering pipelines on a massively parallel processing (MPP) and cloud-based tech stack, applying solution aspects from hybrid-clouds (Azure, AWS), data lakes and multiple data warehouses.
  • Data management functions including:
    • ETL/data feed management
    • Metadata management
    • Create database objects as needed (e.g. Stored procedures, Stages, Indexes)
    • Optimization of data pipelines
  • Maintain procedures for handling, storing and using data
  • Tools:
    • Apache Spark (Pyspark), Pandas, Python
    • Any modern database (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres)
    • Good to have exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI
    • Data engineering stack on public clouds - AWS, Azure, Google

Qualifications
  • BS Degree in one of the following subject areas; Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience designing and developing BI solutions
  • Solid understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
  • Solid understanding of ETL and data warehouse principles
  • Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • User documentation skills
  • Ability to present complex ideas in user-friendly language
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment
  • Minimum 5 years SQL experience, 3 years of ETL experience
  • Python based data wrangling experience highly desired.
  • Strong data warehouse knowledge
  • Experience with large data sets
  • Experience with Web and Digital marketing data a plus

Compensation Range: USD $112,290.00 - USD $161,280.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
