Job description

Position Summary

As Director, Data Management & Visualization, you will be pivotal in managing the E2E data and visualization process including collection, aggregation, QA, processing and visualization for a major client while also serving as a consultant to all Mediabrands stakeholders. In addition to managing the day-to-day data and visualization needs of internal and external clients, this role will be managing a high functioning team of managers and/or analysts/sr. analysts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Ownership: Independently run a business unit or portfolio, including full accountability for delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • New Business Setup: Lead setup from scratch for new accounts/businesses, including systems, processes, and data flow design.
  • Data Migrations: Manage and execute large-scale data migration projects and comparable complex assignments.
  • Consistent Processes: Execute consistent processes across Mediabrands clients.
  • Campaign Naming Conventions: Define and ensure adoption of consistent campaign naming structures across platforms and reporting environments.
  • Data Integration: Prepare and integrate outside datasets, including first-party and non-standard digital inputs, into analytics workflows.
  • Data Quality & Anomaly Detection: Implement QA processes and anomaly detection to safeguard data integrity across all deliverables.
  • Leadership Skills and Stakeholder Management:
    • Engage with senior clients, internal leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive adoption of data solutions.
    • Ensure quality work output from onshore/offshore teams
  • Media Platform Knowledge:
    • Campaign Management: CM360, DSPs.
    • Social: Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X.
    • Search: SA360, Bing, Google Ads.

Required Skills

  • Technical Skills:
    • Deep understanding of end-to-end data flow, APIs, databases, and BI tools.
    • Visualization and dashboard creation experience; Tableau preferred.
    • Strong BI tool skills (Alteryx, Power BI, KNIME, etc.); Tableau Prep preferred.
    • Database experience (Snowflake preferred).
    • Understanding of taxonomy creation and execution
  • Media Platform Knowledge:
    • Campaign Management: CM360, DSPs.
