Job description

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role involves collecting and analyzing data, building dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, and writing SQL queries to extract information from databases. The analyst partners closely with business stakeholders to define key metrics, monitor performance, and identify trends or anomalies. Strong analytical skills paired with the ability to communicate findings to non-technical audiences are essential for success in this role.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop dashboards in PowerBI to support internal decision making and increase speed of data flow.
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to develop KPIs and visualizations.
  • Drive data databasing solutions by supporting SAP tools or development of other data collection methods.
  • Source data from SAP, SQL, or other platforms to generate dashboards and other reports.
  • Maintain data integrity across reports and departments.
  • Create semantic models, table relationships, and other calculations/measures.
  • Support cost accounting department with data pipelines and PowerBI reports.
  • Work on special projects as required.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in information systems, business analytics, or a related field
  • 2+ years' experience in an analytical role
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience building reports with PowerBI (or comparable data visualization software).
  • Experience or knowledge of databases and ability to write SQL a plus.
