Position contingent upon award of contract, government acceptance of candidate, and positive adjudication of government investigation.
Position Summary:
The Data Analytics / Automation SME provides technical systems/analytics/automation expertise and data and analytics support to the Defense Intelligence Agency - Data and Analytics Team. Specifically:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Developing Dashboards and User Facing Products in Microsoft Power Platform
  • Identify opportunities to improve remediation processes and propose modernized, data-driven approaches (e.g., โ€ข automation, data analytics, workflow improvements) to increase efficiency, improve traceability, and reduce rework.
  • Developing strategies to identify areas of opportunity to optimize statistical efficiency and quality of accounting data
  • Review, recommend, and develop use cases and tools/bots for Accounting related Automation efforts, specifically related to the following activities:
    • Unliquidated Obligation (ULO) clean-up and processing
    • MIPRs (direct cite and reimbursable), PRs, POs processing and review
    • WBS elements review in GFEBS
    • IDOC error report (DTS, AXOL, DCPS, etc.) clean-up and report generation
    • Status of funds reports, open commitments, open obligations reports
    • Commitments, obligations, disbursements review and analysis
  • Design and deploy attended automations in UiPath to address the client's most pressing accounting issues
  • Conduct analysis on financial, accounting, and budgetary trends impacting the client's operations
  • Performing financial data collection through available tools (Discoverer, OBIEE, and APEX)
  • Identifying accounting anomalies and recommend corrective (preventative) actions
  • Ability to leverage Oracle Federal Financials functionality and domain knowledge to assist in solution development

Education & Experience Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in BI/ Data Analytics/Automation and Data Analytics
  • Proficient with UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Power Apps, etc.)
  • Existing or Ability to Obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required
  • Must be willing and able to travel as required
  • Knowledge of DoW Systems and Data Analytics/Big Data Platforms and Automation tools
  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
