What you'll be doing...
We are seeking an Associate Director of Capital Governance & Portfolio Strategy to serve as the strategic financial architect and single point of accountability for capital budget management, forecasting, and governance across the Product & Revenue organization.
This is a newly created people leadership role. You will lead a small high-performing team, providing the financial rigor and process standardization needed. You will be instrumental in managing capital funding, providing tradeoff options for new pipeline demand, and ensuring transparency and alignment across complex, cross-functional portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
  • Capital Governance & Intake: Implement and optimize a unified capital intake framework across the organization.
  • Streamline current processes, establish clear operational boundaries, and manage intake for Mobile and Home portfolios to ensure alignment on priorities and funding.
  • Capital Rebalancing & Trade-offs: Optimize funding allocations within and across the Mobile, Home, Value and Digital portfolio based on run rates, priorities and business impacts.
  • Financial Forecasting, Reporting & Analytics: Drive the strategy for advanced, automated portfolio analytics and executive dashboards. Establish consistent financial forecasting methodologies across all portfolios to improve transparency and enable data-backed capital rebalancing.
  • Executive Leadership & Finance Liaison: Act as the Business Unit lead to Finance organization for all capital activities, including annual capital planning, quarterly business reviews, and executive meetings.

What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training
  • 10+ years of progressive relevant work experience in managing large-scale capital portfolios (e.g., corporate finance, strategic PMO, product management operations, or management consulting) in a highly matrixed enterprise environment.
  • 5+ years of direct people management experience with a proven track record of coaching high-performing, autonomous teams.
  • Proven experience driving organizational change management, specifically regarding operating model changes and establishing centralized governance structures.
  • Mastery of capital planning, rolling forecasting, run-rate optimization, and financial risk mitigation within a product/technology or revenue-generating organization.
  • Expert knowledge of portfolio management frameworks, intake automation and prioritization scoring methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to command room presence in executive SteerCos, synthesize complex data into executive narratives, and influence senior leadership decision-making.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with Prod-Agile Operating Model.
  • Experience with managing technology investment and financials; specifically navigating complex capital types (e.g., infrastructure vs. software capital).
  • Strong fluency in BI strategy and automation/AI, with the ability to direct teams to leverage tools for predictive reporting.

The salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $113,500.00 - $198,000.00.
