JOb Title : Data Engineer
Location -USA (San Jose or Raliegh)

Role brief We are looking for Data Engineers who worked on Data Warehouse migrations like Teradata to Google BigQuery. Should have strong analytical skills and the ability to build Data ingestion pipelines, Data Modelling, and write/tune complex SQLs. Should be self-directed and be able to understand customer inhouse ETL tooling and enhance it for requirements. Minimum qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in working with data warehouses, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT and reporting tools.
  • Experience in Cloud DWH and DB Migrations and writing complex SQL or analytics code (e.g., data pipelines) and scripts in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Go, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with Google BigQuery
  • Experience in ETL tools like Informatica / Fivetran / Dbt
  • Experience reading or debugging code (e.g., Python, Shell, or JavaScript)
  • Experience with Orchestration tools like Control - M

Preferred qualifications:
  • 7 years of experience in customer/client-facing Data projects
  • Experience designing and maintaining cloud project infrastructure (e.g., GCP)
  • Familiar with Stream or R/T processing platform like Kafka

Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
