GENERAL FUNCTION

  • Lead and execute the Lean Manufacturing roadmap of the zone to drive industrial and financial performances according to the zone budget and beyond
  • Use the LIFE methodology and RX Referential standards across the network to improve productivity, quality, service and standardization
  • Collaborate on the industrial projects of zone to bring the lean expertise (i.e. relayout, installation of new equipment)
  • Empower, develop and coach the Lean Leader team, the local CI and production teams in the labs by doing with them on the floor tools implementation such as VSM, QRQC, SMED.
  • Be the gear that make the change on the floor to transform the labs as per the RX Referential
  • Animate the benchmark and best practices for the zone

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and execute the Lean Manufacturing roadmap of the zone to drive industrial and financial performances according to the zone objectives and beyond
  • Use the LIFE methodology and RX Referential standards across the network to improve productivity, quality, service, consumables costs and standardization
  • Collaborate on the industrial projects of zone to bring the lean expertise (i.e. relayout, installation of new equipment…)
  • Empower and develop the Lean Leader team, the local CI and production teams in the labs by doing with them on the floor tools implementation such as VSM, QRQC, SMED,…
  • Be the gear that make the change on the floor to transform the labs as per the RX Referential
  • Animate the benchmark and best practices for the zone

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level of education and professional experience: Bachelor or Master Degree in general industrial engineering, more than 10 years of professional experience as Lean manufacturing Manager, Plant Manager, Production Manager, ideally in the medical device industry.
  • Technical skills: Master all the lean manufacturing concepts
  •  Behavioral Skills: Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement tools with proven successful implementation, able to influence and deal with diverse people at any level of the organization, passion for results, customer oriented, actions oriented with a “on the floor” mindset, strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions. Capability to synthetize and communicate simply complex issues and solutions

Traveling: up to 75% of the time
