Responsibilities

The Project EHS Director supports specific client and project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.

  • Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
  • Conduct daily safety meetings
  • Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
  • Daily safety audits and inspections
  • Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
  • Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 - 10 years direct construction safety experience required
  • Experience managing safety teams
  • Degree in a safety related field
  • ASP or CSP destination preferred
  • Expert knowledge of construction safety standards
  • Experience developing a Corporate Health and Safety Plan
