Position Description

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure supporting FMS-NG. This role ensures system availability, scalability, and security while supporting operational continuity and performance optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure/cloud engineering
  • Hands-on AWS experience required
  • Strong knowledge of networking, Linux (RedHat), and security
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch
  • Perform infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning
  • Coordinate OS patching and maintenance activities
  • Support disaster recovery (DR) and continuity of operations (COOP)
  • Plan capacity and ensure high availability of systems
  • Implement security controls and infrastructure hardening
  • Coordinate downtime, upgrades, and environment management
