We are seeking a strategic and visionary Director, Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions to lead the evolution of our cloud, infrastructure, and operations capabilities. This leader will define and execute enterprise cloud and infrastructure strategy, drive operational excellence, strengthen security and resiliency, and ensure technology platforms scale to meet the needs of a rapidly growing healthcare organization.
The Director of Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions leads the strategy, architecture, governance, and operations of Mosaic Health's infrastructure ecosystem. This includes cloud platforms, data center technologies, servers, storage, endpoint infrastructure, disaster recovery, automation, observability, and infrastructure security.
This role partners closely with Technology, Security, Clinical, and Business leaders to deliver highly available, secure, and cost-effective technology services. The ideal candidate combines executive leadership skills with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of leading enterprise cloud transformation in regulated healthcare environments.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Leadership
  • Define and execute the vision, roadmap, and operating model for Cloud & Infrastructure Services.
  • Align infrastructure and cloud strategies with organizational goals, business priorities, and technology initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, resiliency, and operational excellence.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor high-performing infrastructure and cloud teams.
Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture
  • Own enterprise cloud strategy with Azure as the primary platform while maintaining multi-cloud awareness across AWS and GCP.
  • Establish architectural standards and governance for cloud, compute, storage, virtualization, and endpoint environments.
  • Drive modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, platform consolidation, automation, and infrastructure transformation.
  • Develop governance frameworks for cloud adoption, platform selection, and build-vs-buy decisions.
Operations & Service Excellence
  • Ensure reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure operations across all enterprise platforms.
  • Lead ITSM maturity efforts, including change, release, problem, incident, and configuration management practices.
  • Define service-level objectives (SLOs), operational metrics, and performance standards.
  • Establish enterprise observability, monitoring, and capacity planning capabilities.
Security, Risk & Compliance
  • Partner with Information Security leadership to strengthen infrastructure security and Zero Trust architecture.
  • Ensure infrastructure platforms meet HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Govern identity and access management standards, privileged access controls, and infrastructure security practices.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and remediation initiatives.
Business Continuity & Resiliency
  • Own enterprise disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • Establish recovery objectives, testing programs, and documentation standards.
  • Ensure critical systems maintain appropriate levels of availability, resilience, and recoverability.
Financial & Vendor Management
  • Develop and manage infrastructure and cloud budgets.
  • Lead enterprise FinOps practices, driving cost transparency, optimization, and accountability.
  • Manage strategic vendor and partner relationships, ensuring performance, value realization, and SLA compliance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and investment opportunities that improve organizational outcomes.
Automation & Innovation
  • Lead enterprise automation initiatives that reduce operational effort and improve reliability.
  • Drive adoption of modern operational practices, including DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and AI-enabled operations.
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation across the infrastructure organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in infrastructure, cloud, and technology operations.
  • Proven success leading enterprise cloud strategy, architecture, and operations in complex organizations.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, with working knowledge of AWS and GCP.
  • Experience leading large-scale cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, and organizational transformation efforts.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including compute, storage, virtualization, and data center operations.
  • Experience establishing and governing FinOps, cloud governance, and infrastructure operating models.
  • Demonstrated success building high-performing teams and developing future technology leaders.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, or comparable cloud certifications.
  • Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
  • Working knowledge of HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC 2, and Zero Trust security frameworks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, and modern identity governance solutions.
  • Experience leading Microsoft tenant consolidation, mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale technology integrations.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, observability platforms, and modern SRE practices.
