We are currently searching for a Director, Clinical Operations to join our Toronto Team! The Director, Clinic Operation plans, organizes and oversees the activities of Pharma Medica Research Inc. (PMRI) departments including kitchen, cleaning, clinic assistants, administration, clinic supplies and building management. The Director, Clinic Operations reports to the VP, Medical Affairs and/or designate.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and manage the operations of the following clinical areas of responsibility: kitchen, facility, clinic assistants, administration, clinic supplies, and building management.
  • Supervise the managers and supervisors from the above departments.
  • Consult with senior management to maintain and establish standards for the provision of clinic services.
  • Oversee the management for all clinic studies supplies and stock maintenance.
  • Ensure general clinic duties are performed to prepare for the clinical study (e.g., tube labeling, bunk room preparation, set up bleeding stations, etc.
  • Ensure all direct reports are specifically trained in all assigned tasks and duties.
  • Ensure all clinical and laboratory supplies are adequately stocked on site.
  • Provide necessary reports as defined by the President
  • Ensure Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Perform any tasks required by the President deemed necessary to conduct a clinical study.
  • Other duties as required.



Qualifications

  • MSc in Life Sciences or related field; CCRP Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in clinical research (preferably in a CRO setting).
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH, FDA, and Health Canada regulations.
  • Proven ability in strategic planning, team leadership, and cross-departmental communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Applications
