About Job Director, Client Partner โ€“ Meta

Location: Seattle, WA or Bay Area

Domain Focus: Family of Apps (Facebook, Instagram) & Superintelligence Labs - AI Training Data & Data Services

About the Role

We are seeking a Director, Client Partner to own and grow a strategic Meta relationship focused on AI training data and data services supporting Family of Apps (Facebook and Instagram) and Superintelligence Labs. This is a revenue-owning role responsible for a book of business exceeding $10M, requiring a leader who can personally acquire, develop, and manage client relationships - remaining hands-on rather than operating purely as a people-manager - while driving expansion across a fast-moving, technically sophisticated account. This role reports into and works alongside the broader Client Partnership team, including the Senior Director, Client Partner covering Microsoft. It's an excellent opportunity for a commercial leader ready to personally build a strategic AI data relationship with Meta from an established base, with a clear path to grow scope as the account matures.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Own and grow a $10M+ book of business within Meta, spanning AI/ML training data, annotation, and data services supporting Family of Apps (Facebook, Instagram) and Superintelligence Labs use cases.
  • Personally acquire and develop new engagements within the account - identifying new teams, use cases, and stakeholders across Meta's product and research organizations.
  • Serve as the primary client partner for assigned Meta stakeholders - building trusted relationships across product, engineering, research, and procurement teams.
  • Drive account growth by identifying new use cases and expansion opportunities across consumer product (Family of Apps) and frontier AI research (Superintelligence Labs) workstreams.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract execution, including contract structuring, pricing, and renewal strategy, in partnership with legal and finance.
  • Own transaction volume and account performance - tracking commercial and delivery metrics for the account and driving them forward directly.
  • Partner cross-functionally with delivery, operations, and program management teams to ensure client commitments are met and data quality/SLAs are maintained.
  • Represent the voice of the client internally, shaping roadmap and delivery priorities based on Meta's evolving AI data needs.
  • Collaborate globally with delivery and leadership teams across regions to support a client relationship that may span multiple geographies and time zones.
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • 5-8 years of experience in client partnership, enterprise account management, or strategic sales roles, ideally supporting large technology or hyperscaler accounts (Meta experience strongly preferred).
  • Based in or willing to work from the Seattle area or Bay Area.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and growing enterprise accounts ($10M+ book of business).
  • Domain exposure to consumer social/product platforms (Facebook, Instagram, or similar) and/or AI research organizations - understanding of the different commercial and technical needs of each.
  • Experience in AI/ML data services - training data, data annotation, RLHF, data labeling, or related data pipeline work - is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable working across two distinct buyer types within the same account: product/consumer teams and frontier AI research teams.
  • Strong presence with a track record of building trust with senior client stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead commercial negotiations and structure complex enterprise agreements.
  • Based in or willing to work from the Seattle area.
  • A collaborative, hands-on operating style - this role blends strategic account ownership with day-to-day relationship management.

Reality lab along with super intelligence lab and family apps.

Things to Sell

Agentic AI, Internationalization, Multimodality and Physical AI.

Nice to Have
  • Prior experience at or partnering closely with Meta.
  • Experience supporting AI research labs (e.g., foundation model training, RLHF, red-teaming, or safety data programs).
  • Experience scaling an account from an initial engagement into a multi-year, multi-domain strategic partnership.
