Young Adults Director


Position Summary

The Young Adult Director is responsible for leading and developing a vibrant ministry for young adults (ages 18-30). This role exists to help young adults of Multiply Church grow in their relationship with God, build authentic community, discover their God-given purpose, and become active disciples who serve within the church and their communities.

Family Ministries Director



Primary Responsibilities

Spiritual Leadership

  • Provide biblical teaching through Bible studies, small groups, and worship gatherings.
  • Encourage spiritual growth through discipleship, prayer, mentoring, and pastoral care.
  • Develop leaders who can disciple and mentor others.


Ministry Development

  • Plan, organize, and oversee programs and events that engage young adults.
  • Create opportunities for fellowship, outreach, missions, and community service.
  • Develop strategies to connect new young adults into the life of the church.


Leadership & Administration

  • Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders.
  • Manage ministry communication, scheduling, budget, and resources.
  • Maintain communication through social media, email, and other church communication platforms.
  • Evaluate ministry effectiveness and implement improvements.



Pastoral Care

  • Build meaningful relationships with young adults.
  • Provide counseling, encouragement, and spiritual guidance.
  • Visit and support members during significant life events when appropriate.
  • Connect individuals with additional pastoral resources as needed.


Church Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Lead Pastor, Family Ministries Director, church staff, and ministry leaders.
  • Support the overall mission and vision of the church.
  • Participate in church-wide services, events, and leadership meetings.


Expectations

  • Model a Christ-centered life marked by integrity, humility, and servant leadership.
  • Support the church's mission, values, and statement of faith.
  • Maintain flexibility for evening, weekend, and special ministry events.
  • Pursue ongoing personal and spiritual growth.


We are asking:

  • Plan and prepare for weekly young adult gatherings (service and/or small group style)
  • Create gatherings specifically for fellowship and connection (Monthly)
  • Create and develop a team of volunteers to help lead the young adult ministry and evangelistic opportunities.
