Job description

What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Business Process Consultant. In this role, The Business Process Consultant will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing IT operational processes across the organization. This role partners closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to identify inefficiencies, standardize workflows, enhance service delivery, and advance operational excellence.
The consultant drives continuous improvement through process mapping, automation enablement, governance alignment, and performance measurement. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in business process management with a strong understanding of IT operations, service management frameworks, and organizational change management.

Role Responsibilities
  • Assessing current-state IT operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Leading process discovery sessions and develop clear current-state and future-state workflows
  • Designing scalable, standardized, and measurable processes aligned with business priorities
  • Developing and maintaining process documentation, SOPs, workflows, and governance artifacts
  • Partnering with Infrastructure, Service Desk, Network, Security, Cloud, and Application teams to strengthen operational performance
  • Supporting and optimizing ITIL-aligned processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management
  • Identifying and recommending automation and workflow optimization opportunities using enterprise platforms
  • Improving service delivery outcomes through KPI analysis, reporting, and performance insights
  • Acting as a liaison between business units and IT operations teams
  • Facilitating workshops, process reviews, and working sessions with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Translating business requirements into actionable process improvements and implementation roadmaps
  • Providing data-driven recommendations to leadership on process maturity and governance
  • Ensuring processes align with organizational policies, security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations
  • Supporting risk management efforts and operational control frameworks
  • Contributing to operational readiness assessments and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting organizational change efforts associated with process transformation
  • Developing training materials and lead process education sessions
  • Monitoring adoption, effectiveness, and sustainability of process improvements
  • Promoting a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business process consulting, IT operations, or IT service management
  • Strong knowledge of IT frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, or Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience with process mapping, documentation, and workflow design tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional workshops and drive process improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL Foundation (or higher) certification
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar ITSM platforms
  • Knowledge of cloud operations, infrastructure management, and enterprise IT environments
  • Experience with automation technologies and workflow orchestration tools
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
