General shift hours:
5:00am - 1:30pm with some flexibility
Job Summary:
About the Role
This position is responsible for basic cleaning responsibilities to provide the best possible environment to support those who work and study at Concordia.
What You'll Do
  1. Support the mission and vision of Concordia College and be able to work with a diverse group of people including co-workers, students, staff, faculty, etc. in a professional manner
  2. Clean assigned areas, which could include classrooms, offices, restrooms, dorm rooms, apartments, and other public spaces
  3. Assigned cleaning tasks may include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, windows, dusting, vacuuming, etc.
  4. Assigned non-cleaning tasks may include snow removal at building entrances, changing light bulbs, care of assigned equipment, etc.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or GED required or successful related work experience
  2. Basic computer skills
  3. Ability to operate and care for various custodial equipment

Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision
  2. Good time management and organizational skills
  3. Excellent attention to detail
  4. Passion for clean and organized spaces
