WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

The Account Executive at Bolthouse Fresh Foods will maintain overall responsibility and accountability tied to all customer communications, sales, order and product management, build customer loyalty and relationships, and problem-solving analytics to maintain high service levels. This person will build a strong working relationship with various internal departments to achieve the highest level of customer service while enhancing mutual growth and profitability for the business.

JOB DUTIES: Order Management

• Ensures that customer orders for the team are timely and accurately entered in the system, with appropriate transportation details and/or providing proactive guidance on fulfillment due to supply issues and constraints.
• Accurately manager lot level allocation for orders to ensure product meets customer requirements and maintain order accuracy
• Collaborates with external planning, coordinate and execute export shipments to meet customer contracts and expectations when shipping abroad.
• Coordinates activities with internal/external transportation partners to ensure delivery deadlines (domestic/export) are met.
• Prepares export and other customer required documents
• Monitor shipping/warehouse issues are addressed in a timely manner to get orders out on time.
• Collaborates with third party warehouse to ensure order accuracy and other customer requirements as needed
• Coordinates sample requirements for customer accounts when requested.
• Pricing accuracy. Responsible for ensuring accurate and complete customer pricing is matched up to customer systems aligned per the agreements between the NSD's and their customers.
• Ensures invoice amounts accurately reflect contractual and promotion agreements; maintains awareness of customer pricing programs and resolves short paid invoices timely.
• Ensures the accuracy of invoices, bill of ladings, shipment related documents including computing of any price, weight/volume conversions tied to the goods transported.
• Interact with customers, by phone or e-mail, to increase sales on incoming orders utilizing opportunistic products; some key account activities may include monitoring buying patterns, scoreboards, and analyzing data to drive sales growth; makes calls to existing customers to promote certain products as directed by team leaders/management.
• Develop and maintain favorable relationships with customers to service customer needs.
• Build customer loyalty and confidence to sustain existing and increase product sales.
• Visit key accounts at customer sites or trade shows, in conjunction with NSD's, to jointly manager accounts and deepen customer relationships.

Product Management

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Fresh Carrots or ingredient-based quality attributes and other specifications of products offered.
• Responsible for team adherence to processes for ensuring accurate customer product specifications; specifications are standardinzed and optimized for company profitability and customer needs; directly involved in collaborative issue resolutions with senior management, sales and customers.
• Collaborates with production and sales, performs analysis, and makes recommendations to team on optimize account performance in the pursuit of departmental and company objectives.

Problem Solving Analytics

Proactively solves problems through analysis of information and utilizing specialized knowledge to solve day-to-day challenges tied to maintaining high customer service levels.

Systems & Technical Skills

• Thorough knowledge and experience with 1) ERP software tools used to enter and manage orders and monitor customer accounts; 2) software tools used to manage and evaluate inventory, and 3) BI software to analyze data and report on customer account activity.
• Proficiency in managing Excel and other database records and with creating and maintaining reports for analysis by management.

Performs other duties as assigned WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or 2+ years of experience related to customer service/sales
• Experience in exporting goods overseas in the food manufacturing or ingredients industry
• Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility. This includes maintaining a clean driving record, which will be verified through a background check

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English effectively and professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong customer service and attention to detail.
• Travel may be required periodically to fulfill job responsibilities and support business operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working knowledge of JD Edwards and other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience with RedPrairie, Blue Yonder, or similar warehouse and inventory management systems preferred.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data reporting platforms.
• Understanding of ingredient supply chain, procurement, logistics, and distribution processes, or experience within a similar manufacturing, food production, or consumer goods industry.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, and managing export documentation and international shipping requirements.
• Ability to analyze operational and customer data to identify trends and support business decision-making.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional activities among sales, customer service, operations, and logistics teams.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with frequent interruptions.
• Ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 20 lbs.
• Operate office equipment requires repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in an upright position walking on both even and uneven surfaces
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, using 3-point contact on a regular basis
• Ability to stoop, crouch, and kneel on a regular basis

HOURS & WORKDAYS:

8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. May include early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends and holidays to accommodate for meetings.
