Job description

Description:

A caregiver in a mental and behavioral health setting provides direct support to individuals experiencing conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia. The role focuses on ensuring safety, promoting independence, and supporting treatment plans under supervision of clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities


NOC caregiver Saturday-Tuesday. Saturday & Sunday (12 hrs) 6pm-6:30am, Monday and Tuesday (8hrs) 10pm-6:30am

  • Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating)
  • Monitor behavior, mood changes, and overall mental state
  • Provide emotional support and de-escalate stressful situations
  • Follow individualized care plans created by therapists or nurses
  • Administer or remind clients to take medications (per policy)
  • Maintain a safe and structured environment
  • Document client progress and report concerns to medical staff
  • Support participation in therapy sessions and group activities
  • Handle crisis situations calmly

Wednesday-Friday 10pm-630am, Saturday 6pm-630am

Saturday, Sunday 6pm-630am, Tuesday 10pm-630am
