Clinic Director – Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

About the Role
Little Scholars is seeking a compassionate and driven Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as Clinic Director, leading our clinical team and overseeing day-to-day operations at our site. In this role, you'll combine hands-on clinical leadership with operational oversight, ensuring children with autism and other developmental needs receive individualized, high-quality ABA programming while the clinic runs smoothly, ethically, and in full compliance with regulatory and payer standards.
This is an ideal role for a BCBA who wants to grow beyond direct caseload management into clinic-wide leadership, mentoring a full clinical team, shaping site culture, and partnering closely with company leadership on growth and quality initiatives.
Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of individualized ABA treatment plans across the clinic's caseload.
  • Conduct and review functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skills assessments, and progress evaluations to guide clinical programming.
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and performance feedback to BCBAs, Student Analysts, RBTs, and BTs at the site.
  • Review client data regularly, monitor progress toward treatment goals, and ensure timely, data-driven program modifications.
  • Conduct and oversee parent and caregiver training to support skill generalization and long-term success.
  • Maintain clinical documentation standards in accordance with BACB ethical guidelines, payer requirements, and company policy, and audit staff documentation for compliance.
Clinic & Team Operations

  • Serve as the primary point of clinical and operational leadership for the clinic site, overseeing daily workflow, scheduling, and caseload distribution.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate clinical staff in partnership with HR and Clinical Directors at the company level.
  • Monitor staff productivity, utilization, and caseload ratios to ensure quality care and sustainable operations.
  • Ensure the clinic maintains compliance with licensing, payer, and BACB requirements, including audits and credentialing needs.
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive clinic culture that supports staff retention and professional growth.
  • Partner with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure consistency of care across environments.
  • Escalate and help resolve client, family, or staffing concerns at the site level.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, contribute to company-wide clinical initiatives, and support strategic planning for the clinic's growth.
Qualifications

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing; BCBA-D preferred.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 minimum experience providing ABA services to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
  • Prior experience in a leadership, supervisory, or clinic management capacity strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting assessments such as FBA, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, or similar tools.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage both clinical quality and operational demands.
  • Comfort with staff supervision, performance management, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and family-centered care.
