Job description

The ideal candidate will be based in Utah, Washington, or Idaho and bring a strong background in Senior Housing, with experience spanning both Assisted Living and Independent Living. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on sales experience in a leadership role within the senior living sector is required. In this position, the candidate can expect to travel weekly to support their assigned communities.
Compensation: Base salary ranges from $105,000-$120,000, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

Position Summary
The REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR (RSD) trains and supports community sales directors in designated region to achieve Century Park's sales and marketing objectives at each community in accordance with all laws, regulations, and company standards. Position drives achievement of occupancy goals in designated region. Reports to the Regional Director of Operations.
Education and Experience
  • Must have an associate's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Must have three (3) or more years of hands-on sales and marketing experience, preferable in hospitality-focused senior housing
  • Prior multi-site experience preferred

Specific Requirements
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitality
  • Must work efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision
  • Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
  • Must be results-oriented, assessable, and confident
  • Must demonstrate expert knowledge in field of practice
  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency to build census with ability to "close the sale"
  • Must demonstrate effective follow-through and follow-up
  • Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, residents, families, vendors, etc
  • Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
  • Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Century Park's Code of Ethics and completes all required compliance training

Primary Job Responsibilities
Below is a description of basic job duties though other related duties may become necessary as directed by supervisor
  • Drives company's sales and marketing goals in designated area
  • Trains Executive Directors and Sales Directors on effective sales and marketing techniques
  • Measures improvements in sales and marketing efforts
  • Supports communities to achieve occupancy goals in designated area
  • Ensures Century Park sales model is implemented successfully at each community
  • Makes contributions by giving direction, vision and strategy to assist in achieving competitive advantage in senior living services in the area
  • Actively participates in sales and marketing events
  • Assists each community in maintaining a positive image in the greater community as well as positive relationships with business leaders and referral sources
  • Participates in competitive analysis in local marketplaces
  • Monitors interior and grounds for cleanliness, optimal curb appeal and tourability
