Job description

Network Engineer III

A growing enterprise organization is seeking a Network Engineer III to serve as a senior technical resource responsible for the design, implementation, support, and optimization of complex network infrastructure. This role is ideal for an experienced network professional who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, driving modernization efforts, and influencing network strategy across the organization.

The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise networking technologies, security, cloud connectivity, and automation. This individual will also act as a senior escalation point and technical mentor to other engineers while helping shape the future direction of the network environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure
  • Configure and support Cisco routing and switching environments
  • Administer and manage next-generation firewall platforms and security policies
  • Design, deploy, and support cloud networking solutions, primarily within Microsoft Azure
  • Lead and contribute to infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex network incidents and performance issues
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and operational teams on enterprise networking projects
  • Drive network performance, reliability, security, and business continuity initiatives
