Responsibilities
  • Develop integrated social media strategies that define how, where, and when Mercedes-Benz should engage consumers across owned, earned, and paid social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
  • Partner with Brand, Product Marketing, CRM, Media, and Creative teams to develop social-first campaigns supporting vehicle launches, brand storytelling, retail initiatives, experiential marketing, partnerships, and cultural moments.
  • Create strategic briefs, channel playbooks, content frameworks, and platform recommendations that align creative execution with business objectives and channel best practices.
  • Manage Meta Business Manager and other social platform tools to facilitate campaign development, creative testing, and collaboration across internal teams and agency partners.
  • Analyze audience behaviors, platform performance, and consumer engagement trends to inform content strategy, creative optimization, and customer experience.
  • Leverage social listening and competitive intelligence to uncover actionable insights, monitor brand sentiment, and identify opportunities for proactive engagement.
  • Develop executive thought leadership content—including LinkedIn articles, bylines, keynote messaging, and social narratives—that positions Mercedes-Benz and its leaders at the forefront of automotive innovation, luxury, and mobility trends.
  • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on social media, educating internal stakeholders on platform evolution, best practices, measurement, and innovation.
  • Mentor junior strategists and contribute to the continued evolution of social strategy capabilities across the organization.
