Midsize Auto body shop in Suffolk county seeking the right individual with strong estimating skills to join our team. The candidate must have knowledge of writing estimates for direct repair insurance companies. The candidate must have strong knowledge of procedures and insurance companies expectations. Salary can be discussed
Body Shop Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee daily shop operations and workflow
Manage technicians, scheduling, and productivity
Ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction
Maintain relationships with insurance companies and DRPs
Monitor cycle times, profitability, and shop performance
Estimator Responsibilities:
Write accurate repair estimates using CCC/Mitchell/Audatex
Communicate with customers and insurance adjusters
Manage supplements and approvals
Ensure proper documentation and job tracking
✅ Requirements (Both Positions):
Previous body shop/collision repair experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of insurance processes preferred
