Job description

Auto Body Shop Manager
Full time  Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
We are looking for a body shop manager to join our hard working team to help oversee, manage and make sure quality work is being done
Proven experience as an Auto body Shop manager or a similar leadership within the automotive industry.
Excellent knowledge of the auto body repair process, techniques, and industry standards
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask & prioritize work efficiently
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle pressure situations with a customer centric approach
Responsibilities:
Direct & schedule work orders to technicians based on their skills & experience, supervise their progress to ensure the quality while providing expectations & feedback
Manage day-to -day operations in the shop, ensuring efficient work flow & completion of all repairs within a necessary timeline
Ensure accurate estimating, costs & invoicing
Provides technical assistance when needed
Oversees progress & completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repairs and safety precautions are being followed
Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, appraisers to provide updates on repairs and address any concerns
Qualifications:
MA State Appraisal License
5+ years in management
Knowledge of insurance direct repair programs (DRPS) is a MUST
Multitasking skills supporting multiple people at once
High school diploma or equivalent
Problem solving skills
Attention to details
Great customer service skills
Committed to quality repairs & excellent verbal & written skills
