Job description

Welcome to CTI - where work meets play! Since 1988, we've been an award-winning, privately owned AV company, delivering top-notch solutions for over 38 years. At CTI, we mix fun with hard work. Our office is buzzing with energy, creativity, and spontaneous Nerf battles. We believe that a lively, collaborative environment leads to great results. Join us at CTI, where every day is an adventure, and being part of our team means being part of something truly special!
What are we looking for?
Are you a passionate AV enthusiast with a knack for project management? We're looking for an experienced Audio Visual Project Manager for our Jacksonville, FL branch who embodies our mission: "to provide a fantastic customer experience." We need a dynamic, highly organized self-starter who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done on time. You'll handle all aspects of AV integration projects, excel at delegating responsibilities, and possess top-notch communication skills.
What are your Responsibilities?
Strategize Like a Pro: Develop and implement strategies to achieve project goals, like a master chess player plotting the ultimate checkmate. Your moves will ensure seamless AV integration.
Resource Ringmaster: Schedule all necessary corporate services and labor resources, including programming, touch panel wizardry, rack build magic, installation, and commissioning. Think of yourself as the conductor of an AV symphony.
  • Deadline Dynamo: Communicate project deadlines, specifications, and budgets to the AV install team with the precision of a Swiss watch. Your timing will keep everything in sync.
  • Document Detective: Ensure all project documents are current and accurate, from detailed drawings to comprehensive bills of materials and change orders. Sherlock Holmes has nothing on you.
  • Client Confidant: Maintain a steady stream of communication with clients, providing them with timely updates on issues, scope changes, schedules, and project progress. You'll be their go-to guru.
  • Team Captain: Lead and inspire a team of talented employees, overseeing training and performance management. Think of yourself as the coach of an all-star AV team.
  • Delegation Dynamo: Delegate responsibilities with the precision of a maestro, ensuring that team members are identified, documented, and current. No task too small, no detail overlooked.
  • AV Superhero: Support the AV install staff in bringing projects to life, from installation and programming to final punch lists. Your cape is optional, but your expertise is essential.
  • Deadline Defender: Ensure projects stay on track to meet client deadlines and that the current margin accurately reflects the remaining work. You'll be the guardian of the timeline.

Does experience count?
Yes-but attitude and aptitude matter just as much.
What we're looking for:
  • An Associate's degree is preferred, but not required. We take into consideration your experience and skill sets that you bring to the table.
  • Project Planning and Coordination: 2+ years managing AV integration projects, developing strategies, and coordinating resources.
  • Communication and Documentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in maintaining accurate project documents and client updates.
  • Team Management: Experience in leading teams, including training and performance management.
  • Technical Oversight: Hands-on experience with AV installations and providing creative solutions.
  • Budget and Performance Monitoring: Ability to track and improve performance metrics, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget goals.
