Job description

Job Duties: Associate, Asset Servicing with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas. Demonstrate accurate and timely comprehension and management of voluntary and mandatory Asset Servicing events: Restructurings, Repricing's of Loans, Bankruptcies, etc. and their impact to Operations and the Business. Demonstrate accurate and timely comprehension and management of Covenant and Financial Reporting requirements in both Lender and Borrower capacities determined by legal documents of investment agreements. Conduct management of daily events, issue resolution, and process improvement initiatives by leveraging subject matter expertise and organizational skills. Build and manage relationships with various internal stakeholders in Operations, Credit Facility Management, Credit Risk, Deal Teams and other divisions as needed. Build and manage relationships with various external stakeholders such as external clients, Agents and Companies. Mitigate Material Non Public Information (MNPI) risk through maintaining accuracy in communications with the respective compliance teams and the Business. Work with global Operations business units to assess and streamline processes in order to mitigate risk or control issues and generate efficiencies. Identify and timely escalate open risk to team management on a daily basis. 

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics or a related field, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior work experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master's degree) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with each of the following: reviewing underwriting documentation and financial statements to accurately interpret complex asset servicing events and understand their impact to operational teams across various business sleeves such as urban development investments, direct lending investments, or real estate investments; reviewing and interpreting credit agreements, identifying and capturing covenant structure on a loan such as quarterly and annual financial statements, compliance certificates, and financial testing ratios (DSCR, interest coverage, leverage ratio, etc.) to accurately build delivery schedules in the operations system and monitor the ongoing financial performance of investments; full loan lifecycle and the associated end-to-end operational requirements of lending agreements through maturity, and any amendments to the agreements; identifying financial risks, interpreting the impact of asset servicing events to credit worthiness, and understanding of Loan Review Committee or amendment approval processes; and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and strengthen operational controls.
