The Director, Asset Management supports the strategic oversight of a portfolio of MH and/or RV assets and is responsible for driving property-level performance, long-term value creation, and the development and execution of business plans. This role partners closely with senior leadership and collaborates crossโ€‘functionally with Revenue Management, FP&A, Operations, Marketing, and Utility Management to ensure performance goals are met or exceeded. The Director, Asset Management will also take a strong supporting role in the design and implementation of internal systems and processes to institutionalize asset-level knowledge and decisionโ€‘making frameworks.

Job Duties
  • Lead the development and execution of multiโ€‘year portfolio strategies, including longโ€‘term capital planning, reinvestment, and value creation initiatives. (Essential)
  • Drive analysis of portfolio performance versus underwriting and investment assumptions; partner with senior leadership to recalibrate strategy as needed. (Essential)
  • Partner closely with Operations and Revenue Management to develop dataโ€‘driven occupancy and pricing strategies that optimize revenue growth and asset performance. (Essential)
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Operations to lead the annual budget and forecasting process; proactively manage variances and identify performance improvement opportunities. (Essential)
  • Lead crossโ€‘functional coordination on regulatory, environmental, and climateโ€‘related risks; develop mitigation strategies and ensure compliance. (Essential)
  • Maintain and refine financial models to support strategic planning, portfolio optimization, and executive reporting. (Essential)
  • Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the financial and operational performance of a diversified regional or strategic portfolio of assets, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
  • Champion initiatives to enhance Net Operating Income through operational efficiencies, expense management, and strategic reinvestment.
  • Oversee capital projects, redevelopment, and expansion opportunities; evaluate return on investment and strategic alignment.
  • Guide Marketing and repositioning strategies to strengthen brand presence and market competitiveness.
  • Develop and implement best practices, processes, and systems to ensure consistency, transparency, and institutional knowledge retention across the asset base.
  • Present portfolio performance, business plans, and investment strategies to senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (Required)
  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (Preferred)
  • 7 years in of experience in real estate asset management, private equity, or investment management (Required)
  • Proven leadership and portfolio oversight experience
  • Exceptional financial modeling, analysis, and strategic planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple departments and lead crossโ€‘functional initiatives
  • Experience with systems implementation, internal process development, or enterprise data management a strong plus
  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license
