Job description

AIM - Where Innovation Meets Impact
CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY: School Psychologist / LSSP (1099 Independent Contractor)
Bilingual or Monolingual
AIM (Assessment Intervention Management) isn't your typical evaluation company. Recognized as a Best Place to Work, Top Workplaces honoree, Best Workplaces in Texas, and certified Great Place to Work, we've spent over a decade reimagining how special education services get delivered - pairing exceptional clinicians with purpose-built technology we design in-house. We build the systems that let evaluators focus on what matters: students.
If you're an experienced School Psychologist/LSSP who wants the freedom of independent practice with the backing of a creative, forward-thinking partner, let's talk.
WHY CONTRACT WITH AIM
  • True flexibility - You control your caseload, calendar, and workload. Take on what fits your life.
  • Innovative tools - Access to AIM's proprietary technology suite, designed to streamline evaluations and cut report-writing time.
  • Testing kits and protocols provided - We equip you with current instruments so you're never fronting materials costs.
  • A collaborative clinical community - Optional monthly professional development and a network of experienced evaluators across 120+ Texas districts.
  • Steady referral volume - We serve 200+ schools statewide, so the work is there when you want it.

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive contract rates commensurate with experience, paid per agreed terms.
  • Engagement contingent on a background check clearing you to work in public school settings.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
  • Conduct FIEs and REEDs for students (ages 0-18) referred for special education evaluation
  • Contribute evaluation findings to the development of IEPs
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies on intervention strategies
  • Attend ARD committee meetings to support appropriate placement decisions
  • Produce accurate, timely evaluation reports meeting district and state requirements
  • Track and submit billable hours through QuickBooks

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Active Texas LSSP licensure
  • Demonstrated experience in psychological assessment of children and adolescents (0-18)

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • Skilled with standardized test instruments, diagnostic software, and special education management platforms
  • Strong, defensible report writing
  • Reliable, professional communication (we collaborate via Slack, email, and Zoom)
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

PRACTICAL NOTES
  • Some travel to campus sites within your service area
  • Light lifting and transport of test materials
