Apply now Job no: 502310
Work type: 12 Month Salaried Staff FT

As an assistant director of enrollment, you will play a vital role in fostering relationships by providing personalized support to students, parents, and educators throughout the admission process. You will receive and meticulously process all documents required for admission and scholarship evaluation. Regular follow-up with students will be a key aspect of your role to ensure their applications are complete and gather any necessary information to support their application. Given the nature of this role, extensive travel is a requirement. Therefore, becoming an expert in educational systems within your assigned territory is imperative. You will collaborate closely with other departments to strategize and execute events that contribute to SCAD's outreach and recruitment efforts.

In this role, you will proficiently operate management systems to meticulously record and track documents, contacts, and other pertinent information while ensuring strict adherence to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidelines. Data integrity is paramount in maintaining accurate records. You will deliver engaging classroom presentations that captivate potential students and actively build relationships with schools and organizations to raise awareness of SCAD and its offerings. Part of your role involves researching, planning, and coordinating travel to top organizations of interest, collaborating with teammates as needed to ensure efficient and effective outreach efforts.

As a representative of SCAD, you will act as a host during events, encouraging applicants, addressing parental concerns, discussing financial plans, and ensuring a seamless transition for students joining the SCAD community. You will be responsible for updating monthly caseload reports and for contributing to SCAD's network growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with schools and organizations. Staying up to date with SCAD publications, policies, and professional development opportunities is integral to your role. You will serve as a mentor to new staff, sharing your expertise and insights. You will also play a role in monitoring admission meeting minutes and proactively asking questions to enhance understanding and decision-making. Attendance at all mandatory trainings is expected to ensure your knowledge remains current. You will also serve as a point of on-campus support for staff on event days, contributing to the smooth execution of SCAD events.

The candidate has a customer service-centered mindset and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals. Additionally, they can work collaboratively and independently.
