We are seeking a Director, eCare Development to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations.

About the Role

The Director, eCare Development will play a pivotal role in leading the design, development, and evolution of the organizationโ€™s care management platform. This handsโ€‘on leadership position is responsible for the overall technical health, scalability, and performance of the eCare system. The Director, eCare Development will lead crossโ€‘functional application development teams to implement new functionality, system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives that improve care delivery for our members. The Director, eCare Development ensures projects meet regulatory compliance standards, align with organizational objectives, and are delivered on time and within budget. Ultimately, this role is key in advancing our mission to provide exceptional services through cuttingโ€‘edge technology. This position requires strong technical expertise combined with proven people management skills to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in application development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive software development experience with at least three years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing software development projects from conception through deployment, including lead and mentor development teams.
  • Strong technical proficiency in modern development languages such as C#, SQL, Angular, etc. and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and software development lifecycle management.
  • Relevant experience may substitute for educational requirement on a yearโ€‘forโ€‘year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
  • Experience developing cloudโ€‘based applications with background in healthcare technology, digital health, or memberโ€‘facing applications.
