The Role


The Director of the Remnant is the chief relationship builder and mission community strategist forRealFaith. The Remnant is more than a giving community-it is a movement of men and women who believe deeply in the vision ofRealFaith, are personally invested in the impact being made, and have chosen to stand with the ministry in a tangible way. Members include monthly partners, app subscribers, and those who have made significant one-time investments in the mission.


This experienced donor relations expert is responsible for cultivating and stewarding a thriving, multi-tiered community, connecting engaged app subscribers to deeper levels of partnership, buildinganew tierthat reflect the heart of the most committed members, and shaping the voice and communications of The Remnant. This role also provides directional oversight to the customer service team on all Remnant-related matters.

This role requires someone who can move fluidly between high-touch personal relationships, community-wide engagement strategy, and compelling communications-all in close partnership with the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Relationship Management & Member Stewardship

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Remnant members,maintainingconsistent, personal communication through phone, text, and email on a weekly basis
  • Build genuine, professional relationships with members across all levels of engagement, with particular emphasis onidentifyingand cultivating those who are most deeply invested in the vision
  • Travelwhennecessarythroughout the United States to meet with members in person and deepen key relationships
  • Keep Remnant members informed and inspired through regular updates on ministry initiatives, specific projects, and the real-world impact of their partnership

Major Gifts & Legacy Partnerships

  • Identifyand personally cultivate high-capacity partners within the existing Remnant community and beyond
  • Build and leadRealFaith'sinaugural legacy partnership team-a dedicated group of top-tier members making significant, long-term investments in the ministry's future
  • Lead thoughtful, mission-centered conversations around elevated giving opportunities, specific funding projects, and multi-year commitments


New Tier Development

  • Design and launch a new, elevatedinner circlewithin The Remnant for the ministry's most deeply committed members-an exclusive community offering greater access, insight, and involvement in the direction of the mission
  • Develop the strategy, benefits, communication cadence, andpersonal touchpoints that make this tier a meaningful and sought-after level of engagement


Community Growth & Conversion

  • Develop and execute strategies to connectRealFaithapp subscribers to the broader Remnant community and invite them into deeper partnership
  • Grow the overall Remnant community through intentional outreachand event-driven engagement
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute member cultivation, appreciation, and community events across the country, creating meaningful in-person experiences that deepen connection to the mission


Remnant Communications

  • Serve as a key contributor to The Remnant newsletter, helping shape content, tone, and cadence to keep the community engaged and inspired
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and execute all Remnant-facing communications, including email campaigns, ministry updates, and special announcements
  • Ensure all communications reflect the mission, values, and voice ofRealFaithwhile speaking directly to the heart of the Remnant community
  • Bring a relationship-first perspective to communications strategy, ensuring every message deepens connection and reinforces why members are part of something bigger than themselves


Customer Service Oversight

  • Provide directional leadership to the customer service team on all Remnant-related issues, ensuring members receivetimely, gracious, and effective support
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex or sensitive situations, ensuring every interaction reflects the care and values ofRealFaith


Internal Leadership

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on all things Remnant-membership, tiers, member experience, and community strategy
  • Maintainaccuratemember records and interaction history within the ministry's CRM
  • Report directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing with regular updates on engagement, pipeline activity, and community growth

What You Bring

  • Significant, proven experience in donor relations, major gift cultivation, or plannedgiving-preferably within a ministry, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization
  • Demonstrated success building and managing a portfolio of mid-level and high-capacity partners
  • Strongcommunicationskills with experience contributing to newsletters, email campaigns, or ministry communications
  • Exceptional relationship skills-warm, trustworthy, and professionally persistent
  • Strong verbal communication skills across multiple channels
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationallywhen necessary
