Job description

Our Dishwashers and Prep Cooks play a crucial role in supporting the Heart of House team and keeping the kitchen running smoothly. We are looking for reliable, hard-working team members who take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and efficient while contributing to a positive, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Dishwasher:

  • Efficiently clean, sanitize, and organize all dishes, utensils, and cookware.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dish station at all times.
  • Follow all sanitation and health guidelines.
  • Assist with cleaning projects in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
  • Support team members to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.

Prep Cook:

  • Roll out pizza dough using the dough machine while following Spinato’s size and portion specifications.
  • Chop vegetables, open canned items, and store food properly in labeled, dated containers.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized prep station in accordance with Spinato’s standards.
  • Assist with additional prep tasks as directed by kitchen leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure readiness for service.
  • Current Food Handler’s Card (required).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to lift, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to/over 50 lbs.
