The Role
The Director of Agile Practices & Transformation will be focused on growing and sustaining consistent and effective agile principles and practices across the enterprise in partnership with a broad array of stakeholders. You will lead several key products and workstreams and will have direct management responsibility for at least 2 team members. You will also help indirectly lead and influence a wide range of colleagues as we help shape, codify, and scale business agility (known as Hyatt Ways of Working) at Hyatt.
  • Direct coaching of members of the senior leadership team (SLT) on their application of Hyatt Ways of Working (HWoW) to enterprise-level strategic priorities.
  • Development and implementation of global playbooks for embedding Hyatt Ways of Working across all regions and functions.
  • Strategic oversight for the evolution and effective global adoption of the team’s agile Learning Platform and Knowledge Base.
  • Define and manage KPIs on the adoption of Hyatt Ways of Working to promote transparency and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop effective relationships with leaders; build consultative relationships focused on outcomes and contribute to a positive and effective agile-centered culture at Hyatt.
  • Deliver agile training to all levels of colleagues (from C-level to front-line hotel staff) across global regions.
Qualifications
Experience Required:
  • 8-10 years of leadership experience in agile coaching and enterprise agile transformations.
  • Extensive history of driving and sustainable change programs in large, complex, globally distributed organizations resulting in measurable capability uplift.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives.
  • Strong experience in building, managing, and leading teams.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to drive and inspire change, lead through influence instead of authority, and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Experience Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
