Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) - Cardiology - Murray, UT

About this role:

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Cardiology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.?

  • This position will be housed in the Cardiac Molecular Imaging (CMI) department and primarily support all non-invasive imaging cardiovascular patients out our I (https://intermountainhealthcare.org/locations/lds-hospital) ntermountain Health Medical Center (IMED)

  • Your hours would be 4 days per week, 7a-6p with an occasional weekend

  • No call at this time, but may be considered for the future

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing patient lists and queues, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate scheduling for cardiovascular procedures and tests.

  • Reviewing and triaging orders, verifying patient information, and coordinating care delivery, including stress test supervision, pacemaker/defibrillator device interrogations, ambulatory telemetry monitoring and mail-out options for remote patients.

  • Documenting all patient interactions and scheduling attempts in the electronic medical record. Maintaining clear communication and accurate records.

  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other APPs to optimize patient care pathways and ensure high-quality cardiovascular services.

  • Participating in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members as the service line grows and evolves.

What you'll bring:

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program

  • Active, unobstructed Utah license, or the ability to obtain one

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

  • Minimum 1 years of cardiology experience as an NP or PA
