General Surgery APP (PA or NP)

A healthcare organization in Alabama is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its General Surgery team. This position focuses on providing advanced patient care and supporting surgical services in collaboration with physicians and clinical staff.

The APP will perform specialized clinical duties, assist with surgical patient management, and provide care within established protocols and scope of practice guidelines. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment and contributing to high-quality patient outcomes.

Schedule: Day Shift, Full-Time, Regular Employment Status

Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Active or eligible Alabama license and DEA registration, NCCPA board certification for Physician Assistants or appropriate NP certification, RNFA certification required for Nurse Practitioners, BCLS and ACLS certifications, Surgical experience required

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in general surgery or surgical specialty practice, Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills, Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
