What You'll Own
  • Work assigned sales opportunities, prioritizing efforts to maximize team productivity and profitability, or as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Proactively scope technical solutions to meet customer requirements, assess customer needs and gaps, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the Company.
  • Secure input from all necessary customer stakeholders and adapt solutions as needed to ensure alignment and support.
  • Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers' business requirements.
  • Obtain the necessary commitments from customer technical stakeholders to achieve technical approval and support for proposed solutions.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channels, or teams supported.
  • Supports Account Executive's product growth targets for the assigned geography, channel, or account base.
  • Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms and collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.
  • Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure
  • Take ownership of assigned opportunities, ensuring consistent follow-through and timely progression toward close.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Provides coaching and professional development to team member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills. .

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of IT project experience in enterprise networking and data center solutions OR 5+ years of manufacturer Pre-Sales experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with assignments.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Focused on customer success.
  • Process-oriented, with comfort using systems to track and report on activities.

Desired manufacturer certifications, including but not limited to:
  • Aruba
  • Cisco
  • Juniper
