Both roles require industry-specific knowledge, but their credentials and work environments vary significantly.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a directional driller, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Directional Driller, you need strong knowledge of drilling engineering, downhole surveying, and geosteering, typically backed by relevant technical training or a degree in engineering or geoscience.
