Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate, patient, and reliable Direct Support Staff to provide one-on-one support to an individual with behavioral support needs and diabetes management requirements. Staff will work closely with the individual's support team, including a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), to implement behavior support strategies, promote independence, and ensure the individual's health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support in the home and community settings
  • Implement behavior support plans under the guidance and supervision of the BCBA
  • Assist the individual in developing daily living and social skills
  • Monitor, document, and report behavioral observations, incidents, and progress according to company requirements
  • Support diabetes management and assist with medication administration as needed
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment through boundaries and excellent communication skills
Required Qualifications: 
  • Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with adults in the related field
  • Ability to pass a DOJ Live Scan
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance 
Nice To Have: 
  • Current CPI Card
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology or related field
  • College enrollment or coursework preferred
